About
I am a classically trained flautist with curiosity for hybrid forms of expression. More specifically, a Psychodynamic Music Therapy course led me to experience the music-making process as a means for communication on a very deep level. In the process of free improvisation a blending with other art forms naturally occurs. This experience helped me to push the boundaries of my training as performer, and start exploring songwriting and, to some extent, composition.
Furthermore, I have a passion for cross-art productions. Therefore I am one of the co-developers, alongside director of photography Zoi Dalaina, of the Music-Evoked Stories - a project which explores the human associations to music.
In addition, since March 2017 I have been blogging about female artists, aiming to raise the public's awareness about female artists. In January 2018, I joined the "En Horo" choir with the aim to further develop my vocal skills.
